tastefully simple re~do

Have any of you tried the tastefully simple products? Well, I happen to love their pesto
mix. Just yesterday while I was rummaging around in my spice cupboard I spotted my
pesto mix and it occurred to me that the little jars that it comes in would be so sweet to
embellish. So last night I pulled out my laces, ledger paper, wire, glue, some bling and bits
of millinery. I did a makeover on the two jars that I had. I think they look so pretty.

I am sure you could do this on any jar that you have lying around:

I think the wire is such a nice touch, they look wonderful hanging on pegs:

I have them hanging with my heart from the last post, they are a nice trio:

Next, I want to try something with lace and sewing. That should be very interesting ...
stay tuned ...

I LOVE THESE!!! I just added a hanging wire to a jar with a flower. My jar looks a little plain compared to yours. I might have to jazz mine up a little! Thanks for all your inspiration.

Lace and SEWING??? Better ask Heather and Stephenie for advice (I mean the recipes for the apple Martini's of course! ;-)). You just did a beautiful job! These jars turned out so well! Good idea to combine them with the heart. Don't forget to show us how it all ties together. Thanks for inspiration! This will look so beautiful on a branch or hanging on hooks under a shelf in that little creative space, just adjust the label. Have a nice day and enjoy your projects!

Those are just so pretty with their lacey makeover! You are so clever to think of recycling those jars in such a beautiful way!

I used to save all those glass baby food jars thinking I could recycle them in some useful way, but always came up blank. How pretty they would have looked dressed up like this!

LORI!!!!!!!!!!! Every time I come over here, you have the most beautiful ideas!!! I LOVE this! I was just thinking about jars last night and what to do with them! I absolutely LOVE reusing things like that! This spring, I want to hang some mason jars on my front porch and put wild flowers in them! I think that would be so pretty! I have got to get some old ledger papers like you use, I love that look so much! It is so romantic with the vintage lace!
Love ya lots!

You never cease to amaze me with the darling creations you share.
I once made a grouping of Mason jars covered with crocheted doilies into which were placed little tealight candles that were suspended from wire and used to light walkway.
Wishing you and your family a perfectly delightful Easter. Thanks for popping by.
