charm" ... and i remembered one time to do a white post ... pathetic ... while i
was trying to snap pics of my tree last week, i also took a few pics of some of
my favorite white things so i could play this week ... tomorrow i will be busy
making cookies ... so i thought i would do my post early ... my first pic is an
old cheese box that i filled with some of my most dearly loved things: cabinet
cards, some millinery, old lace on clothespins, and my little miss sweetie:

next is my favorite lamp shade ... i covered it with a fabric remnant from my
mil ... tied it up with a length of wide lace ... and embellished with a millinery
flower and a piece of vintage jewelry that i mounted on a piece of crochet lace
sewed into a circle ... i absolutely love how this looks ...

and a pretty hankie remnant glued onto a little burlap bag ...

P.S. As for my red sofa makeover, I don't have an actual pattern...I'm using the red slipcovers already on the sofa to guide me...having just taught myself to sew a month ago...this is a HUGE project, that I hope turns out okay...fingers crossed.
