Hello Miss Lori~I feel what draws us to these beautiful vintage pieces is...we appreciate the history that comes with it. I've always wished for access to flea markets that have such treasures as the laces and trims you have in your amazing collection.
They make the most perfect embellishments for any project.
Speaking of...I adored your paper mache lid tutorial! I took your idea and added dried lavender with the batting which made a lovely scented sachet I've tucked in with the bath towels. I also scented the batting with a few drops of floral essential oils, rose and gardenia. They too are tucked in between my linens.
Now I'm looking at recycling lids from some of the products we use to create these.
I've invited my sweet neighbor to come over for an afternoon to make some paper lid sachets. Thanks to you we'll be having a sweet smelling afternoon of creativity.

Sweet wishes,
Sara

Lori,
I think it says you are an artist, a lover of anything touched & loved by another hands long ago. It means you can't stand to see those beautiful things sit in a closet & rot. You'd rather put them out on a shelf where they can inspire you everyday. And it says you know what your friends like too! Happy TGIF & all that good stuff. Lisa
