happy friday to you! ... i wanted to share with you today a really simple idea
for creating pillows that i think are just lovely ... the best part of all is that it
only takes minutes to make your pillows and there is no sewing involved ...
this is not a tutorial per se because i whipped these up a while ago ... and i am
not showing you the step by step ... but, they are so easy you won't need that.

this is not a tutorial per se because i whipped these up a while ago ... and i am
not showing you the step by step ... but, they are so easy you won't need that.
what you do need is:
1} a pack of large sized fancy napkins from tj maxx, tuesday morning, etc
2} fabric glue ... i swear by fabritac
3} pillow inserts/forms
4} rubber bands
5} your choice: ribbons and trims
here are the pillows i made:

for the one in the back, i simply wrapped my pillow form with the napkin ... then
secured it on the sides where it was open and the fabric was overlapped with two
dots of fabric glue ... it doesn't bother me in the slightest that it is still open some~
what ... if that does bother you, then just run a line of fabric glue all down the side
to completely close it off ... don't get too close to the edge with your fabric glue, or
it might ooze out and you will not be happy ...
for the "tootsie roll" pillow, i wrapped my napkin all around my pillow form ...
then secured the ends with rubber bands ... i tied a pretty sheer ribbon over the
rubber bands to hide them ...

to finish the pillows off: i added a pretty rose to the larger pillow and a little
deco clip to the "tootsie roll" ...

now, how easy is that? if you try this please let me know because i want to see
your pillows ... my tutorial is up today for artist class ... if you want to sign up,
